Getting Started

1. Set Up Your App Colors

To kick off your app, you first need to make it your own. The first step is to establish your look and feel.  On your dashboard, click the settings icon on your bottom nav bar.

On your app settings page, scroll down to the App Settings subsection and click the App Colors button.

To change the primary color, select the click to select primary color button.

Use the color field or the color sliders to select a color.  You can also change the transparency level using the transparency slider.

Click the button under the RGB v label to input a color hex code. You can click the RGB v button to change the color format to HSVA or HSLA.

When you’re done selecting your primary color, click select.

After you select the primary button, you will see the selected color in the box to the right of the selection button. Repeat the color selection process for your app’s secondary color. Click Update to finish.

2. Upload Your App Image

Navigate to your app settings page, or click the settings icon on your bottom nav bar.

On your app settings page, scroll down to the App Settings subsection and click the App Image button.

Click the Select Image for Upload button to open your phone’s image selector.  You can select from an image gallery, or snap a new photo using your phone’s camera. Your selected image will appear in the box next to the button.

When you’re done, click the Update button.

3. Define Your App Terms

App Terms are the words you use to describe your client’s progress, journeys or goals. Most fitness coaching apps use the term Workouts and assign a group of exercises for each workout.  

To set your App Terms, click the settings icon on your bottom nav bar, or navigate to your app settings page.

Next, click the App Settings button on your bottom nav bar, or navigate to your app settings page.
Input a App Terms in the App Terms field, click Update to save.

Managing Your Clients

1. Create Client Account

To create a new client, use a web browser to navigate to your app’s url and click Create Account.
Fill out the account detail fields and click the Create Account button.

2. Adding a Workout

To add a workout for a client, click the client’s selector button from the list under the Clients heading on your dashboard.

The client details page displays a card list of workouts. Click the Workouts link  add more workout.

This page shows the list of workouts for the selected client. To add a workout for a client, click the + Add Workout button.

Enter a title for your workout and additional details, click Update to save.

3. Adding a Task

Add a task to assign a group of exercises to a client.

Here, we’ll show you how to create a task, save a task, and assign it to a workout. First, click the client’s selector button from the list under the Clients heading on your dashboard.

On the client details page, select a workout card you from the card list of workouts. want to add exercises to.

On the Workout details page, click the + Add Task link.

3.1 Create a New Task

The Create Task page defaults to the New Task tab.

Input the Task title and Description into their respective fields.

Select the Workout you’d like to assign the task to from the Workouts chip list.

Optionally, click the Due Date field to select a due date.

Finally, to save the task for future use, check the Save this task checkbox.

Click the Create Task button to save.

3.2 Re-Use a Saved Task

You can re-use tasks for other clients and workouts.  To re-use a saved task,click the Saved Task tab on the Create Task page.

Select a saved task from the dropdown menu.

Select the Workout you’d like to assign the task to from the Workouts chip list.

Optionally, click the Due Date field to select a due date.

Click the Create Task button to save.

4. In-app Client-Coach Messaging

On your coach Dashboard (or any page in your app) click the menu button on the top right of the screen.
 Select the Messages button on the side navigation menu.
 Select a client from the list to send a message.

Send and receive messages from client.

Discussion Board

1. Adding a Discussion Topic

Click the Discussion icon on the bottom nav bar.

Click the + icon on the bottom right of the page to add a new topic to the forum.

2. Adding a Forum Message

Navigate to the Discussion Forum and select a discussion from the list.

Click the + icon on the bottom right of the page to add a new message to the thread.
